Trial Periods

Each trial period lasts 14 days with up to 3 hosts available for demo purposes. If you would like to monitor more than 3 hosts, please upgrade to a paid account. You will receive an email notification about upgrading 3 days prior to the end of the trial period.


Account Upgrade

To upgrade to a paid subscription, enter your payment details and click upgrade on the Manage/Host page. Alternatively, if you have already entered payment details, you will be automatically charged at the end of the 14-day trial period.


Initial Billing Charge

When an account is first upgraded, a user will be charged for prorated host usage through to the end of the current month. In the rare case where the charge is too small to be processed, that prorated amount will appear on the following month’s bill.


Typical Billing Process

An account is billed on the first day of each month for the number of hosts monitored at that time. If new hosts are added during a month, the usage until that month’s end will be charged immediately. If hosts are deleted during a month, the prorated usage will be deducted from the next month’s invoice. If the account is closed, a refund will be issued for unused time during the month.


Invoicing

Customers receive invoices upon a successful account charge. If there are any issues processing payments, an email will be sent to the user.


Transferring Host Ids

Billing occurs on a per host basis and is linked to the host id. If you would like to transfer the service to a new machine, simply move the agent and existing configuration file. Alternatively, download the most recent agent, generate the config file, and transfer the old host id. Remember to stop the Galago agent on the old machine.


Deleting a Host Id

To delete a host and remove billing tied to that id, head to the Manage/Host page. You can delete a host and stop the billing right from there.
